Hey guys, I went sly and look great, thanks for the advice..NOW I have a small problem.

I can't get my head tan unless I spray tan, and after 6 days you can see where I had tape...its driving me crazy.

Do I need to go to tanning booth? spend a week in the sun or will this always be a problem after 20 years a hair club member - I am so happy

Help

I expect it varies by individual, but I think it just takes time for skin which has been shielded for decades to develop color once exposed to light.

When I first shaved I made it a point to get outside in the sun for 15 to 20 minutes several times a day. Didn't take long for color to develop. There may be other approaches (lotions, tanning lights, etc.) but I didn't have the interest/patience to pursue them.

When I first shaved last June, I spent lots of time in the sun, 20 minutes or so at a time. I also used some sunless tanning lotion, and within a few days, there was a lot of progress. Living in Minnesota, I have went to a tanning booth once a week, and have kept a nice tan.

I used sunless tan option for about a week and then the natural exposure to the sun evened out on my scalp.  The scalp gets color very quickly.  You'll see.
