NOBODY IRL likes my sly dome

Hey all! I'm actually back after a year or so of absence...so long in fact I forgot my username and had to re-register! I'm Ed, and I am still having an issue I probably brought up last time...

 I only shave my head occasionally, in spite of my growing mpb, because nobody I know in real life likes it. All my friends think it looks funny, and heap praise on me when I grow it out. I have been #00 clipper shaving for two weeks now, and I'm just looking for a little encouragement to keep it going...I'll post a pic today once I clean up and shower so you all can see what you think.

How do you all think I look? Be honest, should I push thru the pressure and be sly?

I think the sly look suits you well. Maybe check out a goatee to go along with it, a little facial hair totally reinforces the look. Check some of the avatars in here of the guys with goatees and imagine yourself looking like that or, better yet, photoshop one onto your existing pic.

Slybear is right.   Do what YOU want.  Don't let others tell you what amount of hair to have on YOUR head.  They will come around once they see you stick to your own look.  You are giving them too much power over what you do by seeking their permission and giving in by growing it back out every time they say something.  

Be yourself.  That's what we did.  It's not for everyone, but if it is what you want, you will feel better.  

You look great with a shaved head, so don't worry about that part of it.

I think you look good. I can't believe nobody likes it, about 90% of people I know like my slick dome, and I'm BBC. The guys are right, and I feel the same way, do what YOU like, the others will get used to it.
