Sly for 2 weeks now and thankful for a community like this one. Thinking I'm needing to grow some form of facial hair now though.

Thanks for the encouragement Sir and Cave! I am enjoying my new look.
Its strange really, but it seems MY head is more of an adjustment to others (co-workers) than myself. Its been a mix of good reactions and bad so far. But I have no intentions of going back!

Welcome and enjoy it. It take others time to adjust, but they will come around.

Welcome to the Forum. Sly looks good on you. A shaved head looks good both with or without facial hair. I sometimes have a goatee and sometimes I'm clean shaven. Have fun experimenting!

Two weeks ... and friends are not used to it. That's the reason for the 30 day rule.
You look very good bald. I like the bright yellow jacket too.
I'm still getting used to being bald ... two years plus in. But I'm not going back. I really like it. Still find myself surprised when I see a photo of myself bald. But I like the bald look too much to go back to hair.
Stick with it.

Welcome to the Sly side.
As long as you are comfortable, that's what matters.

Thx for the responses & encouragement everyone!
I think I look good sly too, especially when looking at the back or profile view now. Seeing myself from the back is what really made my decision to shave it all off two weeks ago.
The first day back at work and out in public was a little nervous. I had mostly positive responses from everyone so that helped a lot.
I feel much more comfortable and confident everyday.
What's surprising to me is that women seem to have had the strongest reactions about my new look. Their reactions have varied from "you look good" " you have a nicely shaped head" to flat out "stop shaving your head!" & "I don't like it!"
My guess is the women who don't like it, feel they may have some influence over my hair, and have not accepted my baldness. Yet.
My wife was apprehensive at first "what did you do?" but quickly adjusted, and says she likes the new look now.
My kids reactions were un eventful but positive.
Reactions from other men have been less emotional and less complimentary. This makes sense to me since were men right! One guy at work with MPB did come to me for advice. He said he's wanted to shave his head for two years now, but was nervous about it. I think he's closer to shaving now.
That's it for now. Nice to meet everyone.

Congrats on the decision mate, looks great. As for facial hair that's
your decision of course but shaved it all looks the goods. Enjoy
and thanks for sharing.
