I say go for it! It is such a relief when you finally do it! Im 23 and balding at the crown like yours and I finally said screw it and shaved it out of the blue, lol. Now I feel so confident.. I was balding for a reason.. and that was so I would shave it one day and feel better, then I have in years, about myself.

Make sure to come back here and share with us your experience, how you feel, the reactions you get, etc.  We'd love to know how this change changes your mood and attitude.  I tell you, I bet you'll feel a big sense of relief and a new found confidence.

Share a pic or two also.  On one of the other categories, there is a before and after thread.

Quick update:
Well i went through with it over the weekend and love it.

My wife isn't too thrilled by it at this point but I think it'll grow on her.

I'll have to post a pic when I get a chance!

Wow, Mineral13, that is a VAST improvement.  The shaved head and the goatee suit you very well.  I think that you'll get thru the 30 days with no problem.  I also think that your wife will get used to the new look.  Let's just say that your new look ups the voltage, if you get my drift.

A winner.  My wife was also initially approving but after a couple of weeks all was fine.  Subsequently when I decided to see what hair might be left if I let it grow out I was politely asked to get rid of the stubble.
