As a shift worker who was shaving in the time frame of every 4-5 days, I started getting excessive itching, (especially at night while in bed after four days), and on my last visit to the dermatologist she said that it was SD but it was only in the area around the ears and the nape of the neck (in the area where my hair would still grow). So I have been shaving every other day now and it is improving.
