hi bald guys, iam 58 yrs. old and i been bald since 1973 and i always wondered how do you keep the shine off your heads and whats a good product to use to protect your head from the sun, when not wearing a hat?

Hey Lloyd, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!!

There's actually one product that does both of what you're asking for, Matte for Men Lotion with SPF 25.  (http://www.matteformen.com)  Otherwise, if prefer to use HeadLube Matte you can always use a different sunscreen.

lloyddailey2000... i welcomed u in another thread but welcome again.  as far as shine... i like 2 keep my dome shining.   my dome automically shines on after i apply the sunscreen w/ spf 30.  glad that u found us; this is a gr8 site.  post a pic of your smooth dome & c ya around the forum.

It's funny ... some guys seem to positively like a gleaming bald head whilst others will do anything to get rid of the shine.

Maybe we need a poll Tyler ... shine versus matt ??  :-\

Welcome Lloyd.  I use  Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock with Helioplex, SPF 55.  It keeps the shine off of my head and protects!
