Jake Wood - Eastenders
« on: December 09, 2013, 03:21:17 PM »
Most non-uk'ers won't be familiar with Jake, I'm assuming. He's places Max in Eastenders and he's been balding for a while but he's recently appeared on screen sly. It's suiting him. Here's some pics of now and before.

I remember seeing Jake Wood in only fools and horses very young and had hair like beaker from the muppets lol...but its so weird (not in a bad way) to see him slick bald instead of horseshoe bald after so long.
It is only a problem if YOU make it a problem.

I've been wondering for years why he didn't just do it because he was almost there.  I'm behind on EastEnders so I missed this.   Thanks for sharing it.

Americans actually will be familiar with Jake Wood, though they may not realize it.  He does the voice for the Geico Gecko.

Ahhh, I didn't realize he did those voices.  lol

This is still my favorite of the Gieco Gecko commercials:

How cool. Jake used to live near me when I had my flat in London. Used to see him all the time

Yes, but I've fallen behind lately.  I'm only up to October.  It hasn't been very interesting lately so I've had little incentive to catch up.   I watch mostly out of habit at this point.

As of last night there is a new Executive Producer who used to be a storyliner on the show. The show has dipped and everyone is confident he'll bing it back. He's brought Stacey Slater/Branning back
