What color is your hair
« on: November 26, 2013, 05:39:09 PM »
I talked with a fellow on the phone today about work related e-mail issues. It was a complicated situation. At the end of the conversation, he asked "What color is your hair? For all you have to know and go through to make this e-mail work, you must be grey!".

I hesitated a bit and then said, "I don't know what color my hair is right now. I've been shaving my head bald for several years.  The beard has a fair amount of white in it ... but on top??? The shadow is still dark."

Ah, the advantage of SLY. You don't need to be concerned about hair color.

We had a good laugh.

Great story!  Great answer. I just see a lot of silver stubble on the sides after a cole days growth. Top is a little dark. Bits it's been a very long time since I've had any real length to tell.

I have less grey in my beard than I do on my head.  I started getting some greys in 10th grade!

Top and sides are completely gray/white, the back of my head is salt & pepper, heavy on the pepper.

It varied with the seasons. Normally in summer, my hair was a medium brown with some a slight auburn tint. In winter, my hair would almost always turn near jet black. Now, just based on my facial hair, I'd guess I have some white up there. I can never be sure because I shave every other day so even the stubble is hard to determine color other than 'dark'

My hair has always been black....starting to get some gray hairs in the beard, however.

My hair, when I had a full head of it, was blond. After I started buzzing it for a while it had darkened a lot. My eyebrows are still really light, but my beard is dark brown with some grey on the chin.

Salt and pepper if I let it grow.

This year, I needed to renew my driver's license.  The young lady asked what color my hair is, and I told her that it was brown, but has probably turned gray since the last time I saw it.  She said that if I normally kept it shaved, she could just put it down as "bald".  I told her that I didn't know that was an option.  She said, "No problem."   Now the state officially recognizes me as sly.
