I don't have a dog, I'd love one but I don't have the commitment to get up before work to walk, plus I worry about the dog being at home all day when I'm out. If I won the lottery I would have a housefull!

I do have two cats tho Ella and Archie.

My family has had dogs for a long time.  Our last dog died at an old age a number of years ago.  Now we house sit dogs for people and we can get our dog fix in short stints.

I'll have to look up some photos.  We have one dog coming for Thanksgiving and another for Christmas.

Dena and Dixie in that order. Photos to follow.

This is Snoopy, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  He is a great family pet.  He thinks he's a bird dog, so I just let him believe that...haha.

We got him from a breeder in South Dakota.  They had already name him and it seemed to fit.  He has a longer snout than his breed is supposed to have (due to a big over-bite).  He was the runt of the litter and we wouldn't have it any other way.

I have always wanted a Rhodesian Ridgeback.   The neighbor across the street from me growing up had one that was like the neighborhood dog.  He was the coolest dog.

Haha. that's the truth!   The Cavalier was the first dog I was ever able to talk the wife into.

Razor, my neighbor has a dog like yours (Wheaton Terrier).  About a year ago, they were rushing her to an emergency vet... she was all bloody.  She had gotten in a fight with a huge Water Moccasin (Cotton Mouth) in their back yard.   What they found out at the vet was that she didn't have any marks from the snake... all the blood was from the snake, not her.  She was pretty impressive, killing that snake.

I was laughing at that video of yours btw.  --pretty funny.

All gorgeous dogs guys!!

I'm a dog guy... love them. I did greyhound rescue for nine years but gave that up about 6 years or so again when my kids started getting involved in everything and time became a premium. I had greyhounds for years. They are fabulous dogs.

We now have two Shih-Tzus and a Boston Terrier. We opted for small dogs because they are much easier to take aloing on Family events.
The Shih-Tzus, Quincy and Ryleigh, are great little dogs. They love everyone and are pretty tough little dogs.
The Boston, Cooper, was the runt of the littler and is still pretty small for a Boston. He's the funniest damn dog I've ever been around. He's curious as can be but he's afraid of his own shadow. So he'll go to investigate something and then get scared and yelp and run. We laugh like crazy at him. Great dog and tough as nails. He LOVES kids and people in general. He is one heck of a lap dog too.

Ages..... Quincy-7, Rylerigh and Cooper both 6.

Once these guys eventually leave us (which will apparently be a VERY long time) we're going back to ONE big dog.

I have only ever had Labradors. Great dogs. At the present time I have a seven year old black named Bailey.

Cat's are cool....we have two cats as well....love how they take care of themselves....no walking...fill up the bowl with food and they can pace themselves through several days worth,.

I was thinking of getting a dog recently but then I saw a UK TV show about what dogs do when the owners are out and it changed my mind, these dogs were really distressed during the day, my cats don't give a s**t and start the day shift on my bed!

Would love to have a dog, but don't have have a pen / cage and the house is too close to the road.  Hate the thought of leaving on penned up.  Did have a dog try to adopt me a couple of years ago.  I gave it to a neighbor who has a fenced in one acre yard and two other dogs.  He's very happy, can run without worry of the road, and has playmates.
