As the title suggest which is better? I know it's an opinionated question but I want to hear your thoughts behind your decision.
I have used the pro glide on my face for quite sometime and love the close shave and the single blade on the back. NOw I am going to try the Dollar shave club's executive razor.
I use the Hydro 5 myself. Never tried the other one.
Hey DeepSouthPrep, in my opinion iv used both the hydro 5 and the fusion pro glide. They are both really great razors to use. I have not tried the dollar shave razor yet, but, i hear mixed reviews from some reliable sources. The hydro 5 is cheaper than the pro glide but that does not make it a cheaply made razor if you catch my drift, it just means its more affordable and the replacement razors arfe cheaper as well, the proglide is a really nice razor i like the way it feels in my hand, as far as razor life span, I usually buy a new pack of blades every two weeks and i shave every day, with the proglide the blades did not last as long. I used to use a mach 3 and had the same problem. The blades on the hydro 5 are much wider than the pro glide and can take a little getting use to. so, its really a matter of what you prefer, i dont think there is one perfect razor out there because everyone has their own opinion, you can always buy a hydro 5 and the dollar shave razor, try all three at the same time and then decide which one is better for you. That actually would be fun to do. I hope this helps you out, good luck on you first big shave day buddy!
I like the Hyrdro but my preference is the Fusion Proglide. I love the way it feels in my hand and the control I have with it. Plus I get nice close shaves with it.
I have the disposabls in both hydro5 and fusion I like the hydro5 my fav it cuts good cuts close for head + face the lubrication pockets last a little the the strip on the fusion. The fusionon is rignt up there the fusion dose cut close and its fast for head + face shaving does a good job blades are sharp so careful. Shick on the other hand isba dollar or two cheaper for the disposables about the same for the regular razors that use refills.
I use the standard fusion blades I honestly think the fusion power and pro glide are a waste of money.
