Standard Time
Laser Man:
We now have more months of Daylight Savings Time than Standard Time (7 vs 5). The theory is that we save energy, but that has never been proven. Several years ago when we adjusted the date for changing the clocks, it was supposed to be for two years, then Congress would have a study done to see if we actually saved any energy. They've never appropriated funds for the study, so we really don't know the answer.
I like getting the extra hour of sleep in the fall, but hate to give it back in the spring!
