Hub has asked me to vacuum before he's home.  We have a v powerful wet/dry vac but using the thing KILLS my back.  I really want a trad vacuum...

Just complaining, I guess :)

Bella , you have to get one of the robot vacs,just put it on the floor press the button and let it do the work. My son has two of the above. If it's new and techie, he has it.

I'm so anal about vacuuming. The lines in the carpet have to be perfect. I don't care if you have to climb the walls just don't walk on the carpet.

I symapthize, but I can't understand because I have no carpet in my house....only wooden floors or tile.

 :px We also have two Roombas but they really don't work 'cause we have a 200 year old house with softwood (rough) floors and only one carpet (on the stairs) and 5 dogs 3 cats, birds and a rabbit which all shed... After a day or two of not vacuuming the dust bunnies are bigger than the real bunny! At least I don't contribute to the hair shed LOL  ;D

On that note--- I am always happy to point out when there is a hair in someone's food that it could not possibly be mine..hahaha.

That's too bad the Roombas don't work!  We love ours as it picks up the dog hair everyday before we get home.  We only have hard wood floors in our house, but they are more smooth, so the Roomba works great.
