TapaTalk and Emoticons

I discovered that the Tapatalk program I use to read this forum does not show the animated emoticons that people use.  I checked a post that was supposed to have one online today and found it there as the poster intended, but it does not show here in the mobile program.

 I notice that these emoticons do work in the Badger & Blade forum I also read from time to time.  I wonder if it is possible to "upgrade" SBG to work this way as well?

I'll check to see if I can make the emoticons work in Tapatalk, but I think the main issue is that we don't use standard emoticons her (ours are much cooler) so I'm not sure if it will translate over to Tapatalk.
