Well... I've done it now!!!  I've been loosing my hair very slowly for years, and I finally decided that I would look better bald, so this very night I shaved what hair I had left... I love it... very liberating!  Sure beats GOING bald.

anyway... nice to meet you guys, and I look forward to spending some time here.

Ed, glad to have you here.  You're yet another shining (pun intended) example of how a dude can make a major improvement simply by shedding the balding image... younger looking and hipper.  You'll find lots of good advice here, but feel free to just blurt out questions as they come to you.

Wow! thanks for all of the greetings... I'm loving this look and feel... I don't have to worry about hiding my head or what's the best way to comb my hair to minimize the balding look anymore... I feel very liberated (like I said before)

I just shaved a couple of hours ago, and I haven't been out tonight, but I did get some supprised feedback (not positive, but not negative either) from my mother who came over a little while ago.  all in all I think that this may have been the best decision I've made in a long time about improving my image and self-esteem.
