And second. I LOVE THE BEARD. That beard would look great Sly. Look at the 30 day rule. Try the look for 30 days. Family will get used to it. I am on day 11 right now, but I have had a zero guard for most of my life. Its worth a shot.

BBC= bald by choice. I have a full head of hair. Thanks for the beard compliment. If it were not for my family's opposition, I would have shaved my head yesterday.

Does your family really care how you cut your hair?  What do you think would happen if you shaved your head?  I'm not sure where you're from so maybe there is a cultural issue that I'm unaware of.

Alex, I know many people are going to "harass" you about shaving your head when you aren't balding, but if it's something you want, I wouldn't worry about them. We have plenty of BBC members here who like the bald look better. As far as family, well, my general rule is when you provide my basic needs and pay my bills, then you can have a say so in what hairstyle I choose. If you are holding back because of lack of family, it's only hair and you can grow it back if you don't like it. Remember: "The poorest man is the man whose pleasures depend on the permission of others".

Thanks, Alex.  I agree that you can pull off any look you want.  I'f you have already tried longer hair, and now short hair, and are wanting to try sly...it seems the only thing keeping you from it is wondering if you will look good.  There will be a few people who don't like any look... so don't let them worry you.  Do what you like.  You could also try a zero guard or one step up first and get a pretty good idea.  These looks will suit you well too.

Better yet, just shave it. For as thick as your hair looks, If, after 30 days, you don't like it, you can grow it back in about 2 weeks to your current status. You'll be amazed at how fast hair grows.

You can pull it off, I think it would suit you grealy especially with the beard. And as someone said, you have it good because if you don't like it, it'll be back in a few weeks. But, I think it would suit you.

Very good the beard and take note: for me the real sly guy has to be witout beard and hair!!!!
Despite this you look very good, but I suspect that your face is simply the typical one that do well with all the combinations...
