She was a little oriental woman. I went to go get a medium length cut. When she went to go to work and actually saw my head up close, her immediate reaction was "oh honey..." haha. She was the first person.
The second person was my best friend Charlie. He, like me, sported the black "emo hair". I showed him under my hat after i buzzed my head. He just laughed and said hey mom look, Chey is going bald! And we went on with our day, playing video games and 420ing it up, and it was as if I didn't even mention it. That was when I realized how superficial my hair concerns were, if somebody as fashion conscious as charlie didn't seem to think about it one bit. It felt really good.
The most recent person was my old manager. He saw my head and asked if I was dying. Lmao! But other than that and some cynical bald humor (which was well met, because I teased him about being gay), it truly DID NOT CHANGE his perspective of me. To those who matter, it just does not seem to matter. Its a really empowering feeling when the important people in your life are just kinda like uh okay? So you're bald, wanna drink a beer?
Of course some people laugh, and act like I'm some kind of weirdo, but the hilarious part is I don't even seem to notice them half the time. i dont know where im going with this. Im ranting. Q-Ball heads for the win!
