I wonder why we use sly to mean shaved smooth and shiny.  Where does that term come from?

Thanks for all the replies! Still sly... trying to slowly get out in the sun, wearing just Hawaiian Tropic SPF4.

I am frustrated with the fact that it seems all the local stores are dropping bald supplies. Got a HB Sport and extra blades on clearance, but no one is carrying anything else. Looking for shine products. Are there alternatives?

If not will shop online.
