Transparent Duct Tape?
« on: September 03, 2013, 10:43:53 PM »
Are you guys aware that this exists?  I was doing a search on Amazon.com and found that you can buy Transparent Duct Tape!!  I can think of a ton of uses for this.  Though, before I go investing in a few rolls, has anyone used it?

If you have used it, how transparent is it?  Does it work as well as the regular duct tape?

Here's a link to the duct tape I found on Amazon.com - http://amzn.to/1dESUcz

That's interesting. Is it actual duct tape or just really strong packing tape?
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

Let me now how it works.  ... And no more putting new glass in broken windows !!

You might be a redneck if all your windows are made of clear "ducktape"  !! (With apologies to Foxworthy!)

Doug is correct. It actually is like a packing tape.

It is not a cloth-like texture and the glue is different as well. It feels remarkably like a cellophane. I always end up having to cut it rather than tearing it.

From my experience, it is not as strong as the standard duct tape, either.
