Conversation at work
« on: August 30, 2013, 07:10:04 PM »
As some of you know, I started a new job three months ago and as a result, I've met a lot of new people.  I met another sly guy this week --  we were introduced by a co-worker who sits next to me.  This co-worker, who happens to be sporting the "Dr. Phil" power doughnut made the introductions and then commented, "You two have the same barber!", to which I replied, "And you need to make an appointment with him ASAP!"     >:D

Razor

What was his answer back?

He said, "I'm not ready for that."  He should have been ready a long time ago.

I love how that happened.  I'm sure you were wanting to say something to him about his doughnut, and he gave you the perfect opportunity...and you didn't let it get by you, Razor!   O0

Well done.  I wonder if your co-worker will ever be "ready".  It seems that younger guys are more willing to go sly when they reach the horseshoe stage (or before).  Guys my age seem more reluctant, probably because sly wasn't as accepted years ago.

My guess is probably not.  He seems to be pretty old-fashioned in a number of ways.

...sporting the "Dr. Phil" power doughnut...

I just about snorted my lunch and drink out of my nose I was laughing so hard.... nice description! Sounds like a man who needs to "man up" and clip it off. I wonder if your co-worker was thinking the same thing :)

Thanks for a good laugh, I must remember this one. Glad the new job is working out for you Razor!
