www.Scottysride.orgScotty's Ride is a one day event, a Poker Run, to raise money for the Families of Children in our community with devastating illnesses. The money goes to helping pay the massive hospital bills that these Families are burdened with.
It's quite a sight to see 225-250 motorcycles heading down the road together on a 100 mile journey to help raise money for these Families. I have personally spoken to some of these folks and their gratitude is palpable.
Not one person involved in Scotty's Ride earns a dollar. It is strictly all volunteer. Nearly every bite of food and every drink is donated or supplied at cost. There is no profit.
Now about this year's Ride and how you can be a part of it and maybe even wind up with something very nice in your mailbox.
This year Scotty's Ride decided to have a raffle. Only 2,000 tickets will be sold at a cost of $10 each... that is a total of $20,000 in ticket sales. On the day of the Ride, three raffle winners will be drawn from the 2000 tickets. First prize is $5000, second place is $3000, and third place is $2000 for a total of $10,000 in prizes. What about the other $10,000 you ask??? Well every dollar of that will be donated to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital in Scotty Harbaugh's name.
To help with ticket sales I will be holding a raffle strictly for members of Sly Bald Guys. There will be two prizes given away in the raffle. First place will receive a "Premium Travel Shave Kit".
I will be putting this together myself along with the help of Dennis at Bee Bald. Dennis is sending me a tube of each of his products..... Shave, Clean, Smooth, Scrub, and Heal... and they will be included in the kit. There will also be a brand new QUALITY DE razor, a brand new QUALITY badger hair brush, a brand new bottle of my favorite after shave (Clubman Pinaud), a couple of tucks of blades, and a nice brand new nick stick. All the items will come with a nice travel bag so you can carry these great items wherever you go!
The second place winner will receive a tube of each of the (5) Bee Bald products.
All shipping will be paid for you.!
So how do you enter the drawing for the prizes? Well my goal is to sell as many of the Saint Jude raffle tickets as possible. So here's what you need to do to enter the drawing.... buy some raffle tickets. They are $10 each. For every ticket you buy I will give you one entry into the drawing for the prizes. I will also fill in your tickets for you and personally mail you the stubs. So... if you buy (2) tickets you get two entries in the drawing, if you buy (3) tickets you get (3) entries in the drawing, etc., etc..
Since these prizes are top notch I'm going to ask for a (2) ticket minimum. Of course, you can buy as many as you want!!
Once I get all the items here in my hands in about a week or so I'll post up a photo. In the mean time... I have the tickets so you can hit me up for them immediately!!! I have one month to do this. Once I receive your check, I'll fill your tickets in and mail you the stubs!!
