Hello! I want to start off by saying I had a little curiosity about shaving bald, but then I had read on these forums that a lot of members have shaved their heads bald and it cured the skin condition after a week or two!
My concern is this. I am active duty and encounter hundreds of soldiers and civilians a day. My skin condition already bothers the hell out of me with all of everyone's curitosity about my skin condition. If I shaved my head, it would get even worse! I am also nervous about how I would get treated by fellow soldiers that I work and live with every day.

Thanks!
Welcome! First, thanks for your service to our country. Second, I see you have a slight widow's peak, but many members have said that when they shaved, their SD cleared up, and when they tried to grow even some of their hair back, it came back. In most cases, shaving will probably clear your SD once and for all. As far as the soldiers, most will probably not even care. I would say on my last deployment, about one-third of the male soldiers kept their hair short or even razor-shaved. Good luck and enjoy the forum!
Well. I did it! I will be sure to post the results of whether it heals up or not.
