Wasn't there one of those with Willie Nelson and that big "Farm Aid" project?  That seem vaguely familiar.

Oh look..its KC and the Sunshine Band!  How you doing bro....lol...im on a roll...watch it watch it.  :*)) :*)) :*))

to answer your question..yes it was....i think..i just remember a bunch of musicians got together and sung it.. Had like Dion Warwick, Bruce Springstein, Lionel Ritchie...( dancin on the ceiling)  oppps sorry...got wrapped up in the moment...ummmm yeah where were we....Heck I dunno KC...I dont have a photographic memory ! LOL

Bob Geldolf of the Boomtown Rats got a bunch of well-known British musicians together to record a single for African famine relief.   The group was known as Band Aid and the song was called "Don't They Know It's Christmas".  Shortly thereafter, a group of American recording artists formed "USA For Africa" and recorded "We Are The World" and a group of Canadian musicians formed Northern Lights and recorded "Tears Are Not Enough".  These recordings led to the Live Aid Concert held in London and Philadelphia in July 1985.

The player was George Brett who was playing for the KC Royals.

What team did the Royals play to win the '85 World Series??  this is an easy one for anyone in KC.

St. Louis Cardinals...

Name a video game that had a song named after it (I can think of two).

Who was the mastermind behind such groups as the Beastie Boys, Run DMC and Slayer?

Rick Rubin of Def Jam records.

Easy one ... What rap artist hit it big with dance moves & baggy pants and went bankrupt soon after stardom?

I am guessing Spud Webb.

What television show was a spin off from The Carol Burnett Show?
