Hey guys, Derris The Barber here and I wanna do 4 reviews on the clippers I own that I mention in the post http://www2.slybaldguys.com/smf/index.php?topic=16794.0. Review 2 of 4

The Oster Fast Feed Clipper is a good clipper I use when doing fades without using my Wahl Balding Clipper! They cut pretty close since they have a thicker blade compared to other clippers! They also don't get that warm and are very lightweight. Finally, they don't cost that much.

Pros

• They Cut Close
• Have Good Power
• The Blade is Thick Enough to Give You a #1 Blade Buzz with a Visible Hairline
• They Can Plow Down Thick Hair with Ease

Cons
NONE!

How do these Oster Fast Feed Clipper compare with the Wahl Balding clippers with respect to the following :

Low cutting.
Power
Weight
Mobility

Low Cutting: Same as most #000 blades
Power: Great!
Weight: Lighter than the Wahl Balding Clipper....
Mobility: Corded but long enough to get the job done....not cordless

if I understand you correctly, they both cut to the same length.  I have the Oyster and I like it, but I just bought the Wahl Baldding Clipper because I thought it would get a little closer.  Did I just waste my money?

No sir you didn't waste your money! The Wahl Balding Clippers will give you a closer shave that the Oster Fast Feed
