Friends want to shave head

So my two closest friends thought my shaved head look was really cool for some reason and after hearing about how low maintenance it is, they want to shave their heads too. Should I convince them not too? I mean, I'm not a huge fan of my bald head and I wish I had my old hair back lol...

Just as it's no one else's place to tell you what to do, or not do, with your own head, it's not your place to tell then what they can and cannot do.

And the reason that they think it's "really cool for some reason" is because it's really cool.

Like SlyBear said - it's no place to tell them what to do, but if they want to do it, tell them they should scratch the itch.

By all means let them find out what they are missing. Those are THEIR heads and they can decide what to do. 

You obviously set a great example.

Ultimately it's their decision. But hey....why not encourage them to go in the right direction!

Yep, it's their decision, but you can set the example and whet their appetite by letting them know how much you enjoy your shaved head and bald look and tell your story.

Or a field trip to a good barber... 

Of course, you can't tell them what to do but if they want to try it, encourage them to do so!

Slybear * is a wise man! I like the idea of a shaving party, introduce them to products, watch some flicks with bald dudes, and shred some locks!

(hope i dont get my sly card taken away) But i HATED my bald head the first time i shaved it years ago. I thought I looked funny. But then i learned about the 30 day rule and I gave it a try. I now love my bald head. But hey, being bald is not for everybody. And the great thing about it is that it is hair. It will grow back. I saw just stick with it a little longer. Go a month. But if you already truly hate it, grow some back. But let your friends make their own choices. Someone once told me that Vegemite had an awful taste, but i tried it and loved it. I was afraid to try it because I had the mindset that i would hate it. As i said, being a sly bald guy is not for everyone, but then again some people shave their head and never go back to the way of the hair. Give them this forum link and have them check it out and get advice if they do want to shave it.  Good luck to what ever decision you make on your hair.
