A British author and journalist's view on beards
« on: July 10, 2013, 12:00:56 PM »
Will Self is a British author and journalists who appears on television making some welcome and witty comments (well in my opinion)

In this article, he might be getting somewhat concerned about the trend among British youths with growing a beard.

I think Will should try shaving his head :)
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

Yes, good description of Will Self. He's good value on Question Time.

Will Self had a particularly notorious moment on the then prime minister John Major's plane.

I will read it later, but I have already assumed it is up to his usual wordy and generally snobby bollocks.

Just guessing, like.

Any validity he has in his comments is always ruined by his pomposity. We all know long words it doesnt mean that you have to throw as many of them as possible in to a sentence. He should learn that to be a great orator you have to connect with your audience, not be condescending. Rant over!
