Ok… this is my ID badge from about eighteen months ago showing me sporting the horseshoe.
Yeah, I'm sporting more than an extra hundred pounds, too.
Although both are gone, the horseshoe was easier to lose and keep off.
Huge improvement, Cave Dweller. Congratulations on losing the horseshoe and the extra pounds.

Willing to bet you look and feel better and healthier too! Nice job!

Wow! If I hadn't known the subject context and known what the thread was about, I would never have known that was you. Well done on that weight loss, that's incredible and you're a different guy!
From beach boy to bald guy
This was from 2007 or so. My siblings and I always try to take surprise pics of eachother and this one made it to facebook
Reddog, your transformation has to be one of the best I've see for someone BBC. Your well manicured gray/silver beard and mustache look great with the sly dome, much better than the photo's you've posted with hair.
Lol heres my mugshot when I got caught DWI. Only pic available of me looking extra balding:p
@Cave Dweller
I call that positive change. great style
A friend of mine made this picture on the Cheezburger Network after noticing similarities to an album cover.
Slybeard, thank for the nice comments! I have received dozens of positives comments from friends. I think the part I like best is not seeing all the grey on my head. I started getting grey at 21yo, 59yo now, so not seeing it is cool. I don't mind my grey beard. I've worked hard on the tan, and think it looks great.
I notice that all look much better with a shaved head
A pic of me about 15 months prior to going sly
