Head sweat advice

Well, I discovered something this past week. My head sweats like a busted fire hydrant when it's hot outside.
For example, we had a nice cookout where I work and during the event it was warm outside. I spent more time wiping the sweat off my noggin then ever before in my life. I swear I could have solved the worlds drought problems with just what rolled off my head.
Any good products out there to curb this problem? Forgive me, but I'm still a noob with the sly look. As my profile shows, I'm still a "Sly Guy in Training"
And BTW, my HeadBlade came in the other day! Best invention ever.

Crazy bro. I'm not sure what to recommend to you. Hopefully someone here has some good advice for you and the rest of us.

The only thing I have figured out so far is wearing a hat. I have the Skull Cap from Headblade that works well for sweat, but I only wear it when working in the yard/around the house. Then of course, you're hiding the sly. I wonder if wearing anti-perspirant on the dome would work, but I would think there we be too many negatives (clogged pores for example).

I carry a bandana in my pocket for frequent drying off and use Bald Guyz Head Wipes to freshen up. I don’t know what else there is to do!

Piggybacking on Sarge's advice....I've heard somewhere else on SBG that sprinkling a bit of baby powder or "Shower to Shower" powder on the bandana helps as well.
I'm a sweat hog myself...and I've found that while I do sweat on the noggin, I'm much cooler than when I had hair up there....which would turn to stringy sweaty strands.
Another thing I discovered--even when I had hair. For a summer cook out--IN SOUTH FLORIDA---I was drivin' the BBQ and decided to buy one of them chef's hats just for the fun of it. Now this is 90 degree, High-humidity...next to a blazing BBQ pit.....and I couldn't believe how the heat was whisked off my head by that hat.
Apparently those chef's hats are designed to keep yer head cool.
Now if yer just hangin at the beach or by the pool that would look....well....STUPID...
But, If yer doin' the cookin'.....go ahead and don the chef hat and the apron, man...

Big Jim W. It's kind of ironic how some people view issues with slyness. I went running this weekend and it was hot. However, I was disappointed that my head wasn't sweating. I used to wear a hairpiece and was jealous of those guys who were running with sweat coming out of their head.
Your head sweats and you don't want it. My head doesn't sweat and I want it.
However, back to the subject - I heard the baby powder was a pretty good trick. Good luck.

Maybe we can try a head transplant then.
I did get that Bald Guyz Head Wipes yesterday and they seem to do the trick pretty well. I may even try the baby powder. I'll do some experimenting to see what works best for my noggin.
And Robmeister, I think I'd look a bit silly walking into the office with a chefs hat on my head.
But your right though. They're designed specifically to keep the head cool when in a hot kitchen. Nothing would be more disgusting then sweat beads dripping into ones tapioca.

That's ok, because I don't do tapioca anyway.

Hey, who knows man? Don't knock it yet. It could turn into the next fashion. I won't be the guinea pig to try it but you go ahead and let us know the feedback you get bro.

Just picturing someone at the beach or a pool in some swim trunks and a big old chef's hat. LMAO

Gotta tell you guys, the chef hats or toques, really help with the sweat if you're in a hot kitchen or over the grill. Had my first culinary lab class today and I was greatful for the toque!

The head sweats more than any other part of the body as it needs to keep the brain cool. That is to say if we have brains! I would NOT recommend putting powder on the dome or using an anti-perspirant as it will block the pores and cake up. The only solution is to wear a hat or a bandana, but they will get soaked as well. You can do the finger squeegee, like we all have done. Bald Guyz Head Wipes work to clean and freshen the head, but will not stop the sweat. The trials and tribulations of being bald, gotta love it.

Working with data circuits I one day asked my boss for a chef's hat... he said what in the heck do you want a chef's hat for? I said, well, you keep expecting me to make chicken soup out of chicken sh*# so I want a chef's hat!

WHAT!?
Nahh im just crazy like that. Last year when I went to Florida I did some crazy stuff. I have a friend from Missouri who from another chat goes by teh name of Beano ( yeah like the intestinal gas medicine stuff) I took a big sign wiht me to the beach that said WE LOVE BEANO I had people hold the sign while I took his picture and sent him the pictures. It was funny to see how some people jumped at the opportunity to hold the sign and others that looked at me like I was nuts. My wife and kids say I embarass them. But isnt that what you are suppose to do when you go on vacation..to places wherey ou dont know anyone? At least I do .....way i see it...no one will ever see me again..hopefully. ANYONE WANT TO GO ON VACATION WITH ME?
