you get comfortable just feeling your way around just take your time and use one hand to feel where your razor is and the other holds the razor. good luck. it does get easier.

Like Paul said, you just need to take your time and use one hand on the razor and the other hand to feel the back of your head.  Be careful around the back of your ears.  That is the area that I find if I rush, I'm gonna regret it and there will be nicks and cuts.  It really isn't hard if you just try not to rush and get to know the feel of the back of your head.

I've stopped looking at the back of my head.  Now I just use my hands to feel for stubble.  If I don't find any, it's off and running.

I don't try to look either...

I use a HeadBlade and shave in the shower.  I use my left hand to lather up and keep it out of the water, shave with my right hand rinsing the blade every few strokes in the shower spray all the time feeling my head with my left hand, looking for missed spots and re-applying the HeadSlick.

I just close my eyes and take my time... prolly takes me all of 5 - 8 minutes max.   O0

Sweet, I went back and touched him up using your tips. It worked very well! I'm now confident I can do the back of my head.

Two more questions:
- How long does the Headblade blade usually last?
- Is the Gillette Atra the only blade replacement that works? I can't find it at my drugstore.

It should last a year or two as long as you don't drop it often.

If you get the sensor adapter you can also use sensor and sensor excel blades.  Or any generic atra or sensor blades.
