Marry the right girl...
« on: June 21, 2013, 03:10:23 PM »
For my first ever Fathers Day my wife got me a gift certificate to The Modern Man (http://themodernmanpdx.com/) for my first ever Straight Razor head Shave. I've wanted to try this for SO long and just never done it  :-\

I'm telling you, boys, Marry the right girl and not only will she accept the Sly look, she'll PREFER it on you , and surprise you with treats like this one day! :@`

I'm excited to check out The Modern Man, too!

I'll probably pay a bit extra and get myself a Beard Line Up with a Straight Razor and a Mustache/Beard Trim  ;)

Awesome!!

Enjoy it. And a belated Happy Fathers's Day.
Life has three aspects: Paradox, Humor, and Change.

Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste time figuring it out.
Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure
Change: Know that nothing stays the same.

Congrats. I'd love to marry the right girl but all I seem to meet are the wrong ones.

Finding that special someone who gets it is indeed a wonderful thing !!

I've been jonesing for a straight blade head shave too. How was your experience Vash? I'm curious how you felt during and afterwards. I have a straight-edge at home but I have not *quite* screwed up the courage to try it on the dome...
