Guys, are you the type of shaver where you just have to remove every last hair when shaving? Are you annoyed if you can feel a rough patch. Are some rough patches impossible for you to get smooth?
I tried an electric shaver today and was well impressed with it but, like my wet shaves, i still get odd patches that no matter how i shave that patch it still remains slightly rough!

I am sort of obsessive about everything, so I do get a little nuts trying to remove every bit of hair. I keep feeling my head until I get rid of every rough patch. I don't shave every day and I don't mind a couple days stubble, but what bothers me is that after getting my head totally smooth, it seems that rough patches of stubble start to come in unevenly. A couple hours after shaving I start to feel random patches here and there. Drives me crazy. Maybe I'm just using a crappy razor?

There is nothing worse then going about your day only to suddenly feel a random small patch of hair behind your ear. I try to be obsessive about it, but sometimes I just don't have the time.

I'm pretty obsessive as well. I try to make sure that everything is smooth. I feel my head throughout the day, and I do get a little irked when I feel areas that seem rougher than others. You are not alone.

I used to be OCD about getting every little hair..but different spots grow at different rates....As long as I make a couple of good passes over the scalp, I'm okay with it.

Aren't we all bit obsessive about head shaving.
really irritating is when you shower shave. Think you got it all super smooth. Get out. Put some aftershave or witch hazel on, and Head Lube Glossy .... oops there are some spots you missed that don't show up until you add the cream. Get the razor back out. Seems like the first day on a blade is pretty good, but after a few shaves, you need to go back over again. The head lube seems to bring some of the not quite so close stubble into feeling range. Go for it again.
Yep. Get every little bit. and a midday repeat if necessary.

I call going for every follicle the scorched Earth approach. I don't do it every shave but I do prefer the completely smooth feeling. There are some spots on the back of my head that are a but rough no matter how much I shave (due to scars).

I still have a 75% full head of hair and it would take me forever to try and be completely smooth. In fact I'm real succeptible to razor bumps and ingrowns so I just do 2 WTG passes and call it a day.
