Good evening ladies and gets,

My name is Bryan and this is my first post here. I'm a regular at B&B and TSD. Anyways, this weekend I came across this cool vintage tobacco holder for pipes and loose leaves and converted it into a shaving stand. I figured it was postworthy for my first entry here =]

One small note though, I was always told to not keep Straights and DE razors in the bathroom due to the humidity.
This could cause stains, and corrosion to the blade which you would want to avoid.

Hi Bryan:  Welcome to the sly fraternity. Nice score!  I love  your Gillette Slim.  I get some incredible shaves with my 1966 Gillette Slim that my beautiful wifey gifted me.  We hope that you become an active member here on SBGs.  I am also an active member at B&B.

thanks war hawk. I post on b&b quite a bit but the majority of people there shave their face and not head so advice isn't always relevant to my needs. forgot about this forum and I plan on visiting more.

i had a bad shave day. bummin. tried out my new type, then swapped to m old type and ended up finishing with my slim. I've been using Astras lately but decided to revisit feathers and I think I've gotten used to smoother blades.

anyways, what is your pre shave prep for dome trimming?
