Bought my first DE razor !
« on: June 15, 2013, 09:11:53 AM »
Hi guys !

Today I bought my first DE razor, and it is a Merkus 37C (slant).
Bought Merkur and feather razors to try out which is best (but according to the shop the winner will be the feathers).

I'm very eager to try it out on my head (and my face to compare to the straight razor) but as I'm going to a wedding tonight I didn't take the risk yet  ;D

Anyway, will let you know how the scalping went  O:O

Well my first head shave with the DE slant and .... It's GREAT !!  O:O
Actually A LOT easier and FASTER than expected ... maybe this is due to that I already learned shaving with a straight but there isn't much about it imo :)
Now to be completely honest, I have 3 nicks on the back of my head/neck but hey, for a first timer ;)
The overall shave is BBS for lets say 80%, a bit of stubble here and there.

Soooo you cant count me in as from now !!
