Should I go sly?
« on: June 15, 2013, 08:29:32 AM »
I'm 21 and I have a pretty noticeable case of MPB on top. I decided I'm going to shave it off. I'm 5' 11" and about 160 pounds, work out a lot, and have an olive skin complexion so I think I could pull it off well. However, I have big ears and a possibly weird head shape so would that matter? Also should I buzz it first or just razor it off with no hesitation? I'm planning to do it on Sunday

Not a long story, but used to a member several years ago, after I went sly(no MPB, just wanted a new look), then, let my hair grow out and deleted my handle but I chatted with some very cool people.  When I was sly, I did experience a surge of confidence, which I was sorely in need of.  Now find myself back in that uncomfortable territory once again. My marriage, which was never good, is once again scraping bottom.  Found I'm becoming a 'girlyman' after getting my testosterone level checked, so now I'm on testosterone therapy.  I'm at the proverbial crossroads and though going sly won't eliminate the many challenges I'm dealing with, it is, as my handle says, a game changer.

Will my wife like it?  She didn't like it the last time, but she never likes it when I grow a mustache or goatee or watch "Blazing Saddles".   Sex scenes in movies make her uncomfortable, she still wants me to go back to being a vegetarian, she doesn't think she has anything to do with the problems in our marriage...  Some of you guys know the story.  So I'm thinking of going sly, once again.  Not asking for opinions.  Just making my thoughts public.  Thanks for giving my rambling a read.

shave it.... do something for YOU not for someone else. It is not my place to say it but it annoys me when others try to chnage or influence who we are.  If you want to eat meat, eat it, if you want to watch a classic like blazing saddles then watch it... if you want to shave it, get them clippers out. these are all things about you and you shouldnt be told you cant!

If you're thinking about it, do it! If you don't like it, you can always grow your (remaining) hair back

Welcome aboard, gamechanger! I think going sly is a big confindence builder for anyone. BTW, if you want to, why don't you post a brief introduction in our introductions section so we can give you a big welcome!
