Think he's talking about you PigPen :D         I do think it might be absorbed too quickly to work well.

I say, you won't know until you try it out.  If you do, let us know how it goes.
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

I've shaved my face with it before, worked ok, I don't think it has enough lubrication for my headblade to glide across IMHO.  I do wash my head and face with it after shaving my head in the shower and before shaving my face.  I like the way it feels on a freshly shaved head.

I have read on one of my straight razor forums that it toughens the hairs making it harder to shave, but I have a light beard anyway so haven't noticed it.

A long, long time ago.... I can still remember
How that Noxema used to make me smile....

Not really.

I used it as a shaving cream but it clogs fast unless you dilute it with some water. I love the smell of it, though, and it does make an excellent pre-shave conditioner, eg. HeadShed.

I should go pick up a tub of it today....
