After 16 months of head shaving and nary an incident, I nicked myself in the back of my head near a natural lump spot this past week. Not to bad, but it bled for a few minutes and I felt it warranted a band-aid while I finished dressing. Still shaving, but took it easy in that area and did not go for ultra smooth this week.
I wonder if I just got a quirk blade that caused this, or if I was just going too fast or something. I was using the head blade sport. It felt like I was keeping the wheels on the ground.
How often do you guy suffer nicks that bleed more than a trivial amount?

Every once in a while I'll nick a spot that just won't stop bleeding. A styptic pencil comes in handy in these situation.

Ever so often I'll nick myself in the back of the head right below the cranial bump.....In most cases pressure with a tissue stops it.

Yeah, it happens here too. Usually just behind or just above an ear.

I hate shaving when I'm in a rush. I just know I will nick my head

Happens here too, although a lot less since I switched razors. I usually nick myself right around the cranial bump in back. I've gotten used to it at this point and just continue on and let the witch hazel sort it out afterwards.

I am very careful on the left side of my skull where I have a beauty spot. It is rather big and makes a bump. I happened to cut it 2 or 3 times and it is very painful. This very spot is sensitive.
I often shave around it with my HB Sport and shave on it with my former electric shaver.

Every time I've ever nicked myself it was with the sport. Once I got myself bad enough that I stopped shaving for a while. Now I keep an Alum block on hand incase of any accidents.
