I woke up this morning to find that I'm no longer in my 50's!
And it's a holiday in the US to boot! Have the day off. The family and I are taking a drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Plan to hear some 'Mounain Music' while there, and enjoy the spring flowers. Then home this evening for some English Country Folk Dancing and cheesecake.
Ah! Sounds like a nice birthday.

Thanks to all the birthday well wishers. I had a wonderful day.
The drive was very nice. Traffic good. Weather was wonderful. A cool day. We were also trying out a new car (to us), a 2012 Mazda 5. See what it would be like on a longer trip. Passed the test.
I was expecting more flowers in bloom, but guess with the cool spring here, their timing is off this year.
Music was good. Picked up a 'Mountain Dulcimer' CD which was nice and relaxing. I'm not generally a fan of 'mountain music', but when it is played live, it's very nice.
There were over 20 people at the English Country Folk Dance! Nice crowd. The cheesecake was fantastic. Nice that the recipe made TWO, and we still have one at home for continuing enjoyment.
