Tyler the "founder"
« on: October 17, 2006, 09:06:55 PM »
Before I introduce myself, I would like to thank each and everyone of you for making this one of the coolest websites on the web.  With out you, it wouldn't be Sly Bald GuyS, it would just be Sly Bald Guy.

You probably already know my name is Tyler...it's under my picture to the left.

I'm a pretty laid back guy that's always joking around and trying to have as much fun as I can.  I was born and raised in Nor Cal and have spent all but 6 months of my life living in Cali.  I've traveled all over the U.S. and have come to realize how diverse this country really is.  I'm not talking about racial diversity, I'm talking about thought, lifestyle, religion, etc.  I've partied with celebrities in Hollywood and drank beer with factory workers in Sheboygan, WI.  It was all fun, because I made it fun.  I love adventures and one day I really do hope that you and I can take an adventure together.

So, why am I bald?  Well if you saw my dad, grandpa, and uncles you would know why.  Why did I decide to embrace it and shave my head?  Well, that's more of a fluke.  When I first shaved my head I didn't intend on keeping it shaved the rest of my life.  I was heading out to go on my annual adventure to Montana and decided it would be easier if I had a shaved head while hanging out in the mountains.  Though, when I looked in the mirror I really did like what I saw.  The best part was that everyone else seemed to agree with me.  From that point on I never looked back.

There's my story...or at least an introduction to my story.  If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Tyler,

I am surprised that you have not been to Seattle!  If you ever do, you gotta look me up.  There are plenty of sly folk here, so we won't be alone!

I am also surprised with as much travel as I do.  For some reason, I just never made it up there.

I was fortunate enough to travel to Seattle for work a few years back.  I loved it.  What a beautiful city.

I used to travel to Seattle often. Gorgeous city, especially during the Sea Fair days in late August. Had relatives that lived outside of Bellevue and would visit them often (since moved on to mid-WA state). Because of all the waterways, traffic there is brutal (not enough land to construct roads). Still, I can think of a lot of worse places to live.

Agonizing over what cannot be is an insult to what is.

Hey Tyler!

Just thought this would be a cool place to say it again...thanks for putting together such a cool site! it's been fun shootin' the sh*t with all of my fellow bald enthusiasts! There are great topics and great responses...plus I dig seeing all the bald sly dudes staring back at me on the screen while I type to some pretty cool cats across the country (or world for that matter). You created something to be proud of!

You are ONE SLY DUDE!

Thanks again dude!
