Well about a year later I'm going through the same issues... After shaving my head I did a near daily buzzcut with no guards through the summer into the winter when I decided to try and grow it out and see if it'd look better longer... Really to no avail as I still contemplate shaving it off again.. Only this time I'm about 7 months deep into a beard that I don't plan on shaving (or even trimming) until it's a monster...

A smooth head and monster beard makes a great combo.  Give it a try.

Shaved head plus beard is a great combo - not that many of us are biased.  Sounds like a good time to take the plunge again.

I thought you looked great slick before.  Why not try it with the full beard?  If you don't like, you can always let the hair grow or trim the beard.

I echo several others.  Shave your head again and see what a naked scalp with a beard looks like.  I'll bet it looks great.  Oh, and in answer to a previous question of yours:  quite a few of us (including me) have hairy bodies and bald heads.  I figure, why not go with what you've got?  Lots of body hair = shaving (at least for me) would be a big pain.  Not much scalp hair = why not finish the job nature started?  Just my two cents' worth.

As you can see from my avatar, I'm partial toward the bald head and full beard look.  In my case, I've had so many compliments on the combo. Like several others have said, it's worth giving a try. IMO I think you could wear the look well.
