G'day all.
Kind of re-found this forum recently. I had seen it before and that's how I found out about the Headblade (which I don't use anymore), but decided to sign up for realz this time.
33 year old dude - started thinning at 22, went full sly later that year - never thought of it as a confidence thing and never let it affect my life. I suppose for me it was more of a fashion thing (I mix in hop hop circles here in Japan, so being bald is "gangsta", it seems)
I've had girls who LOVE my scalp. One would constantly lick my head - so that was a bit different - and quite an interesting feeling.
Thinking of gettign a double-edged razor mainly for my face, but thinking of expanding that to the head. Ordered a bunch of stuff off eBay and excitedly awaiting my brush, soaps and other gear.
BALDIES UNITE!

I've seen a lot of things about "confidence" on this board already. I don't see a lack of hair as being a bad thing. Dudes get bald, people grow old. It's a fact of life and you can either get bummed out about it or just accept it make your life more awesome.
I chose the second option.
If anything, I'm glad I went thin - I wouldn't have gone sly otherwise. Sure, the moisturising, suncream, trimming thing can be a pain at times, but when you think about it, there are fewer of us than those guys with a head of hair - and that can be seen as more desirable.
I've been doing this for so long now, I had no idea there was a community for this, nor did I know it was a "thing".
Can't wait to find out more about this. -

If all men approached their hair loss as you have there wouldn't even need to be talk about "confidence". Unfortunately many men worry ( I say needlessly) about their hair loss. Some men obsess over it.
Like many things in life.... it just isn't a big deal..... just a different mind set.

I am sure there are Simpsons fans here, and, if you haven't already, check out the latest episode (Season 24, ep 20) - Homer stresses out about being bald after losing his hair.
Watched it and thought about this forum for some reason....
