Way to go, I think this means you're committed now. O0

I've thought about doing the same, but it is such a hassle here in the U.S. to deal with the DMV.  My liscense was renewed last year and is good for another 6 years.  I don't think I'll wait that long.  The picture is especially bad.  Hopefully the SLY look will help.

As long as it's not cut in half vertically! :*))

I dig the bottom goat look a lot...if not "Mr. Clean", the bottom goat (best of both worlds) or the soul patch is the only way to go!

did that within the first few weeks of going sly, more of a guarantee that I wouldn't go back (although knew that from the start) Didn't want to deal with hassles at airport security, plus hated the picture.

Talking about airport security, has anyone traveled overseas who went sly after their passport photo was taken?  Planning a trip for this December and beginning to wonder if I need to update my passport with a photo of me sly.  My current passport photo has me with a head of hair.  Has anyone gotten hassled over old photos on id's at the airports?  Just wondering what to do.

I had been SLY for quite a while before I updated my photo. Only reason I got a new license is because they could no longer read my DOB. The state contracts out to private companies and they set up express sites. I was in and out in about 15 minutes and it was worth the extra $15

I got mine renewed a year ago in October.  My first "sly" driver's license photo and the first one ever that I actually liked.   I guess it's psychological, but after the photo was taken, I suddenly felt that it was "official" and that if I had been thinking of growing the hair back (which I wasn't), it definitely wasn't an option now.  Made it feel more like a permanent change.

All of the pictures of me that are sitting in frames around the house are fairly old and since I've only been SLY for not quite 2 months, non of them are updated.  The picture in my avatar was taken last  week when the family went out to a Royals baseball game.  My wife took the picture as we were leaving the ball park.  She surprised me and gave it to me for father's day.  I took it to my office and replaced an old one that I had on my desk from a couple of years ago.  So this is the first framed photo that I have.  I'm going to start working on replacing the others.  My hair had really started to gray in the past couple of years, so I think this picture took a least a couple of years off.

Thanks,  That might be pushing it a little.  My 11 year-old (Adam) likes to call me old man.  I think we're both way to young for him to call me old man, yet.

I just moved to a new city and haven't updated the DL yet, but did have to get an ID made for college today and I must say it's one of the better pictures I've had taken as far as ID's/DL's go... also got quite a lot of compliments from some of the university's support staff O0
