New here and ready to share about my new experience
« on: April 21, 2013, 01:08:19 AM »
Hello everyone!

First of all, sorry for the possible mistakes in my "English" but I'm a French guy from Québec and I don't have the chance to practice English everyday...

I'm not new to the "bald style".... I'm 34 and I shave my head since I was 15 years old. This journey to the "no hair" experience started with an animation Ì had to do in a summer camp. I had to play "Brother Tuck" so you can imagine the kind of hairstyle I got! After that day.... I shaved the rest of my hair and loved the result!

Since then, I never got my hair longer than 1cm. I would love to shave them everyday but here's an issue that I have to deal with: eczema and dry skin. When I shave to often, it causes some irritation. I met a dermatologist.... we never found a solution to this problem. So I have to shave my head once or max twice a week.

Everybody knows me without hairs, and I don't want to change that! But after a few years, I discovered that when my hairs grow, a lot of them are missing on half of the top of my head..... so life tells me that I will keep the bald style forever!

A few months ago, my mother started to get some Pulsed Light treatments for her legs and I had to drive her to the clinic (two hours from my spot). I was there with her and I asked a few question to the professional!

After reflection, I decided to surf the web to get more info and some stories from people who tried to use this technique on their head! I was disappointed about the lack of information I got! But this process brought me on this site!

It was a pleasure for me to discover that a lot of people were sharing information about hair shaving!

So I decided to become a member and I would love to share my "Pulsed Light Hair Removal" process with you!! (If there's an interest!)

I'm a guide in a museum and I'm a magician. I'm always in front of crowds..... Every time I have a big show or and important venue, I shave my head. For me, the investment in this process is not a question, I will start an experience that will probably set my hairstyle for the rest of my life and I'm ok with that!

So if you have any questions about me or my process.... feel free to send me a message!

Hey Pat, welcome to SBG!!
People are not limited by the circumstance that they are born in. They are limited by the size of their dreams. Show them that their dreams can have no limits and in turn their accomplishments can be limitless.

great story and great english. I'm a student of linguistics so if you ever wanna practice your english I'm a great English teacher and accent coach.

PS i think in french "hair" is usually a plural word. In english we refer to our hairs on our head simply as "hair" no need for the letter s

Welcome Pat
