I am very happy for you! I do have to ask a question or two. In your part of the world, how much is a pack of smokes? I have never smoked. But back in high school, I was a cashier at a big chain store out here, and cigarettes were 99 cents back in 1979. How much are they now? I know it is quite expensive here in Washington. I know a lot of that is tax. I am thinking that over here they might be $8 a pack. But whatever the price, I am thinking that is way too much money to literally and figuratively burn up! So I am happy for your health and pocketbook!

Congratulations! My better half has over 45 days in of a smoke free life thanks to Chantix. I'm really proud of her but it makes me feel even worse every time I light one up. I've tried to quit, I actually had about three weeks of cold turkey completed when I started back up. Because of other prescriptions I take, I'm not a candidate for Chantix.
I guess I'll just have to work harder at it.
Jim
