Confidence will get back, believe me. You look really good bald, you rock the look seriously!

Markus, I've been away for a few days ... but when I saw your updated avatar this morning I was genuinely impressed. You look so much better and comfortable.

You're only two weeks (or so) into it, so you are still adjusting as are the others around you. It does take time. If you maintain this style it'll be a few more weeks before you realize that even you don't notice the "new" look. Once you assimilate that into your core, what other people say won't have any impact on you.

As (Sly Sister) bella wrote, you look great. Your eyes and brows really stand out.

You definitely are suited to the style ... it's just going to take a little time until you truly "own" it and believe it.

Continued success.

thanks for the nice words to all of you - today I met my aunt again, after we visited her yesterday and she said "when you were gone we said that we like the new style, we noticed the we got used to it very quickly"  :) I can't blame them as I too needed some days to get used to it

Markus, as the guys were saying, parents are going to be, well, parents. Glad to see that you are adjusting nicely to being sly. I'm sure that others will adjust to your new look in no time. I still get a few comments and I'm 40 years old but as an adult, I take them in stride. Nice poster BTW!

Every one feels good about your new look on this site! Don't take offence to this. But don't care what your parents think! Be happy with yourself. Its better than worrying about it.

Hey dude, you look awesome.  No joke.  Maybe your parents sense your hesitation which makes them think they should offer advice?

I dunno, hard to say.  But you look rad.  Own it.  Once they sense that you're 100% awesome and owning it, they'll follow :)

Markus, I looked back at some of your earlier posts. You've come so far, you should be very pleased with yourself.

You were worried about the girls. I think you still should be - the difference being "back then" you were worried about being alone, I think "now" you're going to be overwhelmed.

Like shaving, you're up to the challenge.

I had a couple of days when I wavered with my confidence but I think it's a natural part of the transition from hair to sly.

Just remember that whenever people are teasing/criticizing you -- it's because they are insecure themselves.

Dude I completely see where you are coming from..... Im from India and the Indian society is incredibly vein.... if you dont have hair then you are somehow not normal... having a shaved head is not a common practice over here as it is in Europe or America...

and yes there are days some one will say something about your baldness that will get to you... most of the times its not meant in a horrible way but to us it sounds as if  they have said the worst thing ever..... but you have to remember they are just words.... feeling insecure about somebody else's remarks and dwelling over what they said wont help you to move forward...

Im slowly starting to learn that a persons confidence isn't measured by the number of hair on their head but by their generosity, by their sense of humour and their good nature.... and Markus you have all these qualities...

Sure there are some days that are gona be more tough than others but you you just have to forget about those days and move forward
