Well, to be honest, he looked ok in the pic with hair. Is his hair thinning/balding? He doesnt look that thrilled in the after photo!

To be honest, and at the risk of getting shot down in SLY flames! I dont really understand the whole "convert to freedom" thing a lot of guys speak of. It's as if the mission is that EVERYONE, wether they are losing their hair or not HAS to shave their head!

If someone is not losing hair, I never suggest to them that they  shave their head.  If it is someone who is noticeably thinning or balding, and I know them well, I may tell them that they have a good head shape for it and what to do if they want to shave their head.  Really, freedom is being happy with who you are.  So if someone wants to keep the fringe, that is fine.  But if I personally knew someone who was going to get a transplant or toupee, I would really encourage to shave their head, or embrace their MPB.  But true freedom is to embrace how you were designed, bald or not!

His hair has been noticably thinning at the peaks for the last 5 years or so. The after photo was taken right after we moved a solid oak entertainment center from the back of his little truck, into the house and to the basement. Living in the city has made him soft and not as strong as he used to be when we had to all do hay all the time.

For me, I think when a close friend or family member is starting to lose their hair, they should shave it and test it out for a while just to see that they do have options. I am the only guy in my family that isn't losing my hair, it is just turning white which to me is almost as annoying. I don't think I have ever really talked to anyone in my close group of friends/family that has a full head of hair about shaving their head unless they first ask me about mine. In that case, if they want to be BBC, I'll give them some advice.

Something happened and now the pictures show.
Looks good.
I like photos of bald buddies or brothers.

It looks good on him....Ironically my dad's two sisters have a 14-year difference in age too! Getting back to the subject, it's nice that the wife likes it, but in the end, it's up to him whether he likes it and/or wants to keep it or not. Thanks for sharing!
