I finally talked my brother into going Sly

  I always give my friends/family a hard time about their hair. One of my brothers is going bald in the center and I mention that it is like female pattern baldness, another is loosing it all equally in the front, another is losing it in the back and the front, and another is just losing it so that he has the creepy widow peaks. Well, my brother with the widows peaks was complaining last week about how he didn't want to pay for a haircut. I mentioned in passing that I have clippers and blades at home. He told me he would think about it. So every time I talked to him over the last couple weeks, I've mentioned it. Well finally yesterday as he was fixing my car, I mentioned it again. It was pretty hot outside (close to 70* F) and he said why not! So I went home, grabbed the clippers and razors and shaved his head. Of course, he had to have before and after pics for his facebook so I stole them and decided to share the story here with everyone. Being smooth bald is much better than his thinning hair before. It is stark white on top and red on the face, I might have to try to get a pic of the side to show how truly white it is. His wife loves it, he is hesitant about it for now. Normally he loves to feel my head when I visit them and he said that feeling his own smooth head is much different than mine but he will try to keep it for a bit. I already warned him about the sun, how he needs to wear sunscreen all the time in addition to his normal hat and to just get a little bit of sun daily to get some color up top.

I was over at their place last night, he said he likes the feel but doesn't like the maintenance so he said he'll probably just shave once a week. I gave him the new headblade ATX so it should be pretty easy for him compared to the disposable razors he has at home.

Now I just have to try to convince my other brothers to shed the combovers and denial. By the way, someone said he looks old enough to be my father, heis only 14 years older than me. I am the youngest in my family

Well, to be honest, he looked ok in the pic with hair. Is his hair thinning/balding? He doesnt look that thrilled in the after photo!

To be honest, and at the risk of getting shot down in SLY flames! I dont really understand the whole "convert to freedom" thing a lot of guys speak of. It's as if the mission is that EVERYONE, wether they are losing their hair or not HAS to shave their head!
