Cool!! I really dig black and grey so liking all that, I really need to make my mind up about sleeves, I have big peices on both inner forearms but I'm still a bit hesitant about full sleeve.

They are cool. My problem is figuring what to get.
It has to be very personal clearly. Do you sit down and write out all the things that matter and are important to you?

Thanks! I'm getting ready to begin a black and grey sleeve and yours show how to do it without it looking cluttered. Lots of men have black and grey sleeves but unless you're very careful and have a great artist, it can look like you arm was dipped in ink with some parts of it covered in wax...Great work, I'm now ready to offer up my right arm. (The left one is in an immobilizer.)

Thanks guys! My artist is super talented, she did everything on me.
@lynchy: I always have plans for more, I'm totally addicted, I even have to stop myself going in to just get them to run the needle over me.
@ian: they are all super personal and mean many different things to me, and for the most part, the image came into my head, I drew it (I'm not too bad at pencil sketching) and then took it to Liesje to redraw and size up. But for the raven, I told her I wanted a raven, and what I wanted it to symbolise them let her have free reign, then the forearm is a memorial to my grandparents which we fitted in to that much later on.

That is awesome. Is there red under your forearm I spotted in one pic?
I only have one tat but I want to build on it, I just never get around to focusing on what I want to add and how-- by now there is so much it's overwhelming. I first got it imagining it would be the start of a "sleeve" (except on my leg--pant??) and that I'd add to it every year or so. Just hasn't worked out.

@Bella Yup, I have a soundwave in red and black, it's a noise waveform (it would be a rather distorted white noise) with a pure sine wave over the top. I guess you could call it a pant, if you ever want to have a chat about ideas, I'm always happy to brainstorm and give any advice you may want.
@Npsbg: glad you like it!

Those are gorgeous tats. How long did they take the artist to do?
