Any type of rock music
Really now? You can't be serious.
Anyway, back to Harry's original question: I know there are plenty of songs that cause me to do this, and will have to post as I remember or hear them. I see this as a definite ongoing thread that folks will add to as they go.
Good post Harry.

I suspect this thread could become contentious really fast, lol....
That's why I'm here. Don't be stoking any fires.

Yes, we know that Mike, or any of our other mods will step in if it gets out of hand.

Anything by Whitney Houston, Rihanna and Mary J Blige. Had to listen to them over and over (the same 12 damn songs too) at work for a month straight on account of my boss being too lazy to update his playlist, until we all threatened to walk out and lock him in.
Plasticy, overproduced R'n'b in general is a dealbreaker for me.
Every Rihanna song sounds the same anyway
I swear... she's possibly the hottest woman in the world but her songs make me feel like I've just gobbled five pounds of glue and iron filings...

Wow, thanks guys for the plentiful (so far) responses! FWIW, I forgot to put Justin Bieber in my original post (does anybody here like him?) Going further, how about the king and queen of covers, Michael Bolton and Linda Ronstadt....(have either of them been the original artist of anything they have sung?). Ms. Ronstadt also has been known to throw her political views around at times, just like some of the singers Mike mentioned in his post. As much as I'm not a Bolton fan, I still think he was wronged in that lawsuit he had against the Isley Brothers..Going a little further I still say that Alicia Keys and Beyonce should have swapped roles for the Super Bowl last month...

I'll bite... I like the Bieb. Lame tunes without a doubt but until recently that kid was on point with the babes. Not so sure this latest douche-iness isn't some bizzare sociology/marketing experiment his handlers are conducting so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Plus, his mom's a total milf.

"Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana, and I am a massive Nirvana fan. It's just one of them songs that has been soo over played, I'll have not heard it in ages and it'll kick in and I'll skip the track!!
Generally I don't listen to the radio so I'm not massively exposed to a lot or music that I wouldn't be into. It just seems to me that every female singer has trying to be Beyonce and every male singer has been trying to be Usher for the last 10 years!!

I do like "Teen Spirit" but I will say that it gets too much time on the radio for a song more than two decades old.....I like the video with the cheerleaders in the background, but I do see your point, Viking.

Most rock, all (c)rap "music" and everything by. Michael Bolton.
I'm a little ashamed to admit this but there are two tracks by Justin Bieber that I actually like.

Anything by rihanna. And I love good folk country, but whiny, nasal country and western makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Good call on 'my heart will go on' SSH, that song is awful. And anything by nickelback, I have always claimed that if I become famous enough to punch chad kroeger with impunity, I would.

I see a lot of hatred for Nickelback...just curious why?
