I have been reading for about a week now and decided to join up. Seems like a bunch of good people here. I have been steadily losing my hair since about 30. Through out that time I have been cutting whats left shorter and shorter. It only seemed natural that I should shave it off eventually so 2 weeks ago I did just that. I love it. I have decided though, that it does require a new type of maintenance. That's one of the reasons I ended up here. Well I hope to get to know all of you over time. Thanks for all being so positive and supportive of one another.

Welcome ... you'll find that the maintenance required during the first few weeks seems excessive ... but after that the amount of time required collapses to almost nothing.
Enjoy the experience. Glad you've joined the Sly side.

Welcome aboard Knoggin and good to hear you're enjoying the look and feel of sly already!
It definitely isn't a "low maintenance" look in that you have to keep at it, but it is very easy to maintain, once you get the hang of it it just becomes a part of your grooming routine.

Ok I have a temp picture posted till I can get a better one. As you can see from the photo ... as my thinning hair progressed over the years I received a little sun damage. I tend to sweat even the sweat proof sun tan lotions off. I have worn hats but dont care for the feeling. Like MrZed I suffer from gourdis maximus. Most hats just do not fit me comfortably. Enough rambling though. Thanks for the welcome
