OK, so I got to thinking. What about using laser treatments or electrolysis to remove the hair from my head? I could then enjoy that BBS feeling 24/7/365. I've just started researching this and wonder if there are any folks here that can provide any info on this? I do know that it is expensive and so I'm looking more towards the use at home products. I've found several out there that have mixed reviews. So far, I see descriptions of products that can be used at home and are FDA approved. None mention using it on the head but they do mention using it on the face.
I did a search here on SBG and came upon one old thread that was never updated with the fellow's results.
Any time I "get a bee in my bonnet" about something I do quite a bit of research before deciding whether or not I even want to pursue whatever it is that I'm researching. Not saying that I will go the laser or electrolysis route but I like to know about all my options concerning any given matter. I'm analytical to the nth degree!
Can anyone provide input to this?
Chris
BTW if you're under 50, a "bee in your bonnet" means to be obsessed with something. To have an idea "buzzing" around in your head, for example.
I know a few people who do electrolysis, but never heard of it on the scalp....Guess I'll Google it for curiosity.....
Good info on Google. Looks like for electrolysis it would be a needle inserted into every hair follicle to zap it with electric current to kill it at the root. Guaranteed

Since I'm BBC that would end up being a pretty penny indeed.
I did read about a newer device that uses a gel to maximize the surface area along with a roller type electrode. Curious.
More reading to do.
