Hi guys,
You might know that I have an on/off-relationship with my shaved head. Now I did it again. I am on a business trip for a week and went for a haircut last friday. The last two days I always had to look at the receding hairline at the temples (maybe it is just in my head). So today I went do a barber and just asked for a baldie. I got one. Now it is smooth. I know my father who will catch me at the airport will be surprised at least. Save my mother and grandmother. And my boyfriend will be furious - just like the last time I shaved last August. That is the reason why I have not kept it by the way. So hopefully(!!!) I will habe the strength this time.
Regard,

Although I think it's of the utmost importance to do what you feel is best for you, there are times you need to at least consider those around you.
So ... whatever you do ... welcome back to the forums.

Welcome back!
You gotta be true to yourself - be sly and be proud. Your BF will get used to it.

Here's an update. Returned home with some stubbles on my head (3 days of growth) my father was okay with it, but my mother and not so much. Questions like "Why did you do it?" and complaints like "You have such great hair". I said it is my business and she should respect that. I value here opinion but I make my own decisions. Later I saw my bf how said the same as my mother. But as I live with him in one apartment he makes it harder for me. I gave him the same answers. After returning to our apartment I shaved my head again in the shower. Did it again today. The only hair I plan to grow out is my beard.

Today was/is my first day at work with my shiny bald head. Shaved again this morning, but only with my electric brown Cruzer. But bald is bald, right? My colleagues gave me some "Wow" reactions, but nothing bad so far. Met some friends yesterday which I have not seen in years. Same: "Wow, is this the new trend?" was one reaction.
Does anyone else feel "less bald" when the stubbles begin to grow and your head feels like sandpaper?

Good job on the resolve to stay on the smooth side 0mm. Being shaved for the most part of the last 15 years, I feel hairy already if I have a few days' growth. Great new photo by the way.

Does anyone else feel "less bald" when the stubbles begin to grow and your head feels like sandpaper?
Absolutely. With me, it's the opposite way. I am generally a clipper shaver...currently alternating weekly between #000, #00000 & #000000. Even when I use the #000000 to clippershave, I consider my head 'tightly buzzed' rather than 'shaved". I know it looks shaved to everyone else, but to me it's not really shaved unless I break out the razor. So, right now, I am 3 days after a #000 clippershave. I wouldn't consider my head as shaved, but many others would.

Saturday was my 11th day with a shaved head and the 8th with my boyfriend. He still complains but less than he used to. No problems at work. I have not seen too many friends since I shaved my head. I had the idea of updating my facebook profile pic but did not yet do it.

Absolutely. Before going out for the day, the heads needs to be clean shaven.
0mm, do you think you can stick to the 30 day shave trial ?
